We report the results of magnetic, thermodynamic, transport and magnetocaloric effect (MCE) studies of newly synthesized Gd_(10)Co_(20)Si_(70) alloy. These measurements confirm an antiferromagnetic transition at T_N=9 K. Both MCE and magnetoresistance (MR) show quadratic dependence on the applied magnetic field, indicating the presence of spin fluctuations in the alloy. The maximum values of the magnetic entropy change determined from the isothermal magnetization data for magnetic field change of 7 and9 T are found to be 10.5 and 15.6 J/kg·K, respectively. As a consequence of the spin fluctuations effect, the MCE peaks are pulled towards high temperature side as asymmetrically broadened peak. The MR attains a large positive value of 73%at 2 K in 8 T. The large MR and reversible MCE make this alloy an attractive multifunctional magnetic material. 相似文献

高光谱激光雷达以其谱位合一的技术优势为实现超三维精准遥感观测提供了可行途径,因此成为当前激光雷达与高光谱遥感领域共同大力推进的前沿发展方向。目前已有多型原型系统研发出来并得到了原理性验证,然而针对其数据处理核心环节问题的基础技术仍较为欠缺。典型问题之一是不同波段回波信号受激光入射角度的影响,该角度效应限制了高光谱激光雷达实现高性能遥感。以芬兰空间信息研究所高光谱激光雷达原型系统扫描桦树树干为例探讨了该角度效应,发现了不同激光波段对不同入射角度的回波强度响应模式,推导出了角度效应的基本规律及其精细尺度的统计规律,为后续该方向的系统研发、数据处理及信息提取等提供了可借鉴的底层机理与技术基础。 相似文献

This article addresses the no-wait flowshop scheduling problem with simultaneous consideration of common due date assignment, convex resource allocation and learning effect in a two machine setting. The processing time of each job can be controlled by its position in a sequence and also by allocating extra resource, which is a convex function of the amount of a common continuously divisible resource allocated to the job. The objective is to determine the optimal common due date, the resource allocation and the schedule of jobs such that the total earliness, tardiness and common due date cost (the total resource consumption cost) are minimized under the constraint condition that the total resource consumption cost (the total earliness, tardiness and common due date cost) is limited. Constant- and varied-depth nanoscratching tests of GGG single crystal were carried out at different scratching velocities. The morphologies of the scratched grooves and chips were analysed using scanning electron microscope. The experimental results indicated that higher scratching velocity led to shallower penetration depth, shallower residual depth, and larger continuous chips. Increasing the scratching velocity could effectively improve the plasticity and reduce the brittle-to-ductile transition depth of GGG single crystal. Based on the contact stress and contact area between the analysed sample and Berkovich indenter, a model for predicting the penetration depth was developed, which took into account the strain rate effect and elastic recovery of materials. The model was verified using constant- and varied-depth nanoscratching tests, and the predicted and experimental results were in good agreement. Subsurface damage underneath the ductile surface was characterised using transmission electron microscope. The TEM results demonstrated that higher scratching velocity led to the slipping planes appearing in more directions, which prevented the generation of long slipping plane and reduced the depth of the damage layers. The plastic deformation of GGG at the scratching velocity of 100 μm/s was dominated by poly-crystalline nanocrystallites and amorphous phases, and was similar to that at the low scratching velocity. This study provided a fundamental understanding of the strain-rate dependence of surface/subsurface deformation mechanisms of GGG during ultra-precision machining. 相似文献

针对气控环形防喷器胶芯在密封过程中的大变形以及与油管存在密封压力难以计算的问题,建立胶芯物理模型,结合厚壁筒理论与橡胶本构方程,同时考虑胶芯的材料非线性和几何非线性,探讨防喷器密封过程中胶芯变形与接触压力的变化。根据胶芯变形过程中无变形阶段、自由变形阶段和接触变形阶段的不同受力状况,利用迭代的方法对每个离散微段施加控制压力,得到不同控制压力下胶芯变形量与接触压力,并与仿真结果进行比较。结果表明:在自由变形阶段,随控制压力增加,胶芯变形量逐渐增大且由中间向两侧逐渐减小;在接触变形阶段,胶芯内径保持不变,且与油管间接触压力不断增加。采用胶芯变形理论方法计算的接触压力变化规律与仿真结果基本相同,验证了胶芯变形理论计算方法的正确性。 相似文献

Human behavior about sliding their fingers on touch screens needs to be understood for the design of radial menus. For this purpose, data about the angles of finger sliding in performing radial pointing to eight predefined directions were collected. The optimal angle ranges and boundaries for these directions were then determined by the proposed mechanism. Consistent with previous research, results showed that the deviations of slide angles for the four diagonal directions were larger than that for the four orthogonal directions. Therefore, to reduce overall pointing errors, the angle ranges for the diagonal directions should be wider than that for the orthogonal directions. Based on the proposed mechanism, the total probability of pointing errors could be limited to 0.05%, compared to the error of 2.00% if the eight angle ranges were evenly divided by the radii of a regular octagon. Besides the angles, the lengths and starting points of the slides were reported and discussed along with the oblique effect, judder effect, and screen orientation. Possible applications of the proposed mechanism for dynamic and personalized radial menus are addressed. Further research would be worthwhile to examine the effects of screen orientation and the number of predefined directions on pointing performances. Moreover, extending the research to mid-air sliding gestures would be of interest and value in designing three-dimensional radial menus.Relevance to industryThe proposed mechanism could effectively enhance the accuracy of the selections through radial menus, and could be applied to the remote controls via smart handheld devices. 相似文献

PurposeTo study the effect of daily disposable contact lens (DDCL) refitting in monthly contact lens (CL) wearers suffering from contact lens discomfort (CLD), and to assess if there is a placebo effect associated with this CLD intervention.MethodsSymptomatic CL wearers, according to the Contact Lens Dry Eye Questionnaire 8 (CLDEQ-8 ≥ 12 points), were divided into two groups. The study group was provided with DDCLs (delefilcon A) and the control group with a masked pair of their habitual monthly CLs (placebo effect) and were assessed after one month. Then, the control group was provided with the same DDCLs and evaluated one month later. The symptoms were recorded with the CLDEQ-8 and global rating of change scale (GRCS). Non-invasive tear break-up time (NITBUT), conjunctival hyperaemia, fluorescein staining, and lid wiper epitheliopathy (LWE) were evaluated. Changes between visits, groups, and the effect of each intervention were analysed.ResultsThirty-one participants (mean age: 23.2 ± 5.3 years) were recruited. The study group (n = 14) showed an improvement of -39.6 ± 25.8 % (p < 0.001) in CLDEQ-8 and 31.3 ± 14.6 points in GRCS (p < 0.001) after one month of DDCL use, while no changes in clinical tests were found. In the control group (n = 17), symptoms improved significantly after wearing the masked monthly CL (CLDEQ-8: -26.1 ± 31.0 %, p = 0.03; GRCS: 14.9 ± 17.0, p = 0.002), however a worsening in bulbar (26.5 ± 40.0 %; p = 0.02) and limbal hyperaemia (21.6 ± 34.7 %, p = 0.02) and an improvement of -19.1 ± 37.0 % (p = 0.049) in LWE was found. When the control group was fitted with the DDCL, improvements in GRCS (20.5 ± 25.5, p = 0.02), NITBUT (37.9 ± 42.3 %, p = 0.002), and conjunctival staining (-47.1 ± 59.9 %, p = 0.005) were noted.ConclusionsRefitting symptomatic monthly CL wearers with Delefilcon A DDCL is effective in reducing symptoms related to CLD. However, clinicians and researchers must be aware of the existence of a placebo effect when assessing the effectiveness of any CL refitting. 相似文献
